Metal Storm is arguably one of the best and most overlooked games on the system and you won't regret seeking it out. After you complete the game once you will unlock "HolyFuckingShitThisIsHard Mode" for some replay value. Although it isn't long, the polished gameplay and graphics leave you with an unforgettable 8 bit experience. It clocks in around 30 to 45 minutes and encompasses 6 varied levels. Be wary though, the game is deceptively difficult.

METAL STORM NES REVIEW UPGRADE

Coupled with that, you have the ability to upgrade your mech with different weapons and defense options. On top of that, the controls are some of the tightest and precise you will ever come across in a NES game. It provides the game with an added level of depth and challenge not seen in most platformers. Essentially, with the press of a single button you can control the force of gravity to defeat enemies, solve puzzles and complete levels.

You really want to enjoy her, but aren't really sure how to approach the situation because you want her to make the first move. It doesn't really add or detract to the experience. Have you ever wanted to control the force of gravity while piloting a giant mechanized robot warrior that has an arsenal of multi-faceted death weapons and more moves than Jackie Chan on acid? Trick question, the answer is "yes" and always will be. As always, criticism and your own personal experiences are welcome and encouraged. I will make my best attempt to vary the types of games I review (I will generally avoid racing/sports games) as well. These reviews are going to be straight to the point, no bullshit, no frills and my ultimate goal is to get you excited about playing a game you may have no knowledge of. For the time being, I will be limiting my reviews to games that I personally own for authenticity purposes. I plan to do 4 games per console generation starting with the NES and moving towards the Playstation in the frequency of about 1 review per week. So, submitted for your approval this will be the first entry in a series of mini reviews. If you want answers, message the mods.Ī few days back I asked if you guys were interested in seeing some reviews for excellent unknown retro games.
